I love being outdoors, playing racquetball, and being with friends and family. I also enjoy church.

Favorite quote:

“Keep it between the white lines”. Think about this… it has nothing to do with driving a vehicle.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us:

I had a rare blood disease as a toddler that the doctors thought was leukemia. I was completely healed overnight after months of concern and can’t be described any other way than a true miracle of God.

Tell us three things most people don’t know about you:

I love lawn care, love dogs & I am very soft hearted.

Three words to best describe you:

Honest, dependable, servant

Anything else you want to share (family, hobbies, whatever)

I really enjoy dogs!!! My dog, your dog, stray dogs, just dogs in general. My dad, my papa, and my gramps have always been my heroes of faith.

What do you like most about Slate Group?

I love the people I work with.  It is a great work environment that starts at the very top with our owner Don Denny.

What do you like most about your role at Slate Group?

I love being able to work with people from all over the country, all different walks of life and becoming not only print partners but friends with them as well, not just my “clients”.

What drew you to Slate Group originally?

My dad was the bindery foreman here when I was a kid and I would work some on weekends and the summers.  I was born with ink in my veins and I learned quickly why my dad loved it here.

What has been your favorite project at Slate Group?

This is a hard one to pick because I have been her for almost 30 years and have seen millions of print pieces a this point, but… we did do one piece I always look at that was for Joy Global that I am particularly fond of. It had a hard back cover with a foil and an emboss for the cover and it had spot uv coating on each and every page on the photos and they popped off the page and it had a nice perfect binding to it as well.
