What do you like most about your role at Slate Group?
I love being able to work with people from all over the country, all different walks of life and becoming not only print partners but friends with them as well, not just my “clients”.
What drew you to Slate Group originally?
My dad was the bindery foreman here when I was a kid and I would work some on weekends and the summers. I was born with ink in my veins and I learned quickly why my dad loved it here.
What has been your favorite project at Slate Group?
This is a hard one to pick because I have been her for almost 22 years and have seen millions of print pieces a this point, but… we did do one piece I always look at that was for Joy Global that I am particularly fond of. It had a hard back cover with a foil and an emboss for the cover and it had spot uv coating on each and every page on the photos and they popped off the page and it had a nice perfect binding to it as well.
