Aspirations and Goals as a Human Being:
I strive to live a life that honors God and be the best mom, wife, and overall good person that I can be.
Experience, Education and Credentials:
My dad was a printer, so I grew up around presses and machines during my childhood. After graduating from Texas Tech, I worked in the Marketing department at Suddenlink for 10 years. I have lived in West, East, and Central Texas, moving around wherever my husband’s job took us while working remotely. But, I’m happy to be back in West Texas, working with a fun and creative company that happens to put me right back into the printing world.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I basically live at the sports fields. My daughter plays competitive soccer and we travel all over for her games. My son enjoys baseball, football, and all ball-related sports! I also enjoy watching sports and movies, reading, and spending time with my family and 2 dogs.
Favorite quote:
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. – Semisonic “Closing Time”
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us:
My kids share a hometown with Patrick Mahomes, and I’ve been a fan of his since he was in high school. I was thrilled when he came to Texas Tech University!
Tell us three things most people don’t know about you:
- My name is Erin Lynn, and it was going to be Aaron Lynn if I had been a boy.
- I received the John Phillip Sousa music award my senior year of high school marching band.
- My favorite job I ever had was working at a private airport in college, and seeing a seaplane(!) land in Lubbock TX.
Three words to best describe you:
Loyal, Hard-Working, Determined
Anything else you want to share? (family, hobbies, whatever)
I love to travel and am down for trips almost anywhere. I have even thought about becoming a truck driver in the future, so I can get paid to visit different areas of the country! My daughter has inherited this trait, and we’ve talked about becoming a mother-daughter driving team someday.
What drew you to Slate Group originally?
I wanted to get back into the creative world when we moved back to Lubbock, and I really was amazed at all the projects that Slate Group takes on. I’m excited to work with a team that doesn’t believe in saying that something can’t be done. I look forward to working with our customers to fulfill all their project goals.
