Installing the PDF Preset through Illustrator

Illustrator PDF Preset

  1. Download the Illustrator PDF Preset file to your Desktop
  2. Unzip the file and open Illustrator
  3. Go to Edit > Adobe PDF Presets
  4. In the PDF Presets window click “Import“
  5. Select the “SG High Res.joboptions” file on your Desktop
  6. You should now see “SG High Res” as an option in your PDF presets
  7. Click “Done” and delete the source files from your Desktop

Saving Files with the SG High Res PDF Preset in Illustrator

  1. Go to File > Save As
  2. Type in your desired file name
  3. Select “Adobe PDF (pdf)” from the Format dropdown menu
  4. Press Save
  5. In the Save Adobe PDF Dialog Box select “SG High Res” from the Adobe PDF Preset dropdown menu
  6. Select “Save PDF” in the bottom right corner
