A true entrepreneur with a creative spirit, Jonathan has built The Infinite Agency into an award-winning creative powerhouse. His obsession for innovation and creativity has led him to build a new model for the agency landscape.

He leverages data-driven insights to develop strong positions and meaningful content that intersects brands, people, and culture. Sharpening his creative prowess over the last decade, he has managed to build expertise in growing brands such as Benihana, Budweiser, Bud Light, ESPN, Pizza Hut, Caesar’s Entertainment, Michelob Ultra, Varidesk, and others to further their position and find their visual voice.

Carrie Phillips

Director of Marketing and Communications
Arkansas Tech University

Carrie loves helping others see the promise of an education. Under her leadership, ATU’s marketing team has launched a new logo, a new unified marketing campaign for the institution and developed key brand messaging platforms for the university. From a print perspective, she’s helped launch a new print strategy that’s making print personal for future students and alumni.

She began her higher education career in social media where her work helped land the university on The Today Show and helped university campus ambassador Jerry the Bulldog be featured by Purina.

Carrie is pursuing her doctorate from Texas Tech University. She also holds a marketing certification from AMA and is a member of the District IV Cabinet for CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education).

Dirk Fowler

Graphic Designer & Associate Professor of Art
Texas Tech University

Dirk Fowler, an associate professor of art, has handmade letter-pressed posters for more than 300 musicians and bands including Meryl Haggard, Loretta Lynn, Modest Mouse, Willie Nelson and No Doubt.

Dirk Fowler is an internationally recognized graphic designer. His work has been honored by The Society of Publication Directors, Type Director’s Club, American Advertising Federation and the American Poster Institute. His letterpress posters have been featured in design periodicals including Communication ArtsSTEP Inside DesignPRINT. He has also exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide and lectured nationally. He curated the 2004 exhibition, Graphic Content: Art of the New Music Poster, which toured in the US in 2005 and 2006.

Sonia Avila

Senior Creative Manager
Southwest Airlines

Sonia is the Senior Manager of Southwest Airlines Creative Studio—Southwest’s premiere in-house team featuring designers, videographers, photographers, and animators. She and her incredibly talented multi-faceted creative team bring to life the vivid stories of Southwest’s employees and customers. The 2014 Southwest rebrand project stands out as one of Sonia’s career highlights serving as one part of the trio leading the project. In 2019, she completed Southwest’s prestigious Manager in Training Level II program. And in June 2021, she helped guide Southwest into their 50th birthday as part of that leadership team.

Prior to landing at Southwest Airlines in 2004, Sonia worked as a graphic designer in the world of advertising. Sonia received her B.A. in Fine Arts from Texas Tech University in 2003 and is a proud second-generation Red Raider!

M.J. Anderson

Anderson’s expertise influences brand perceptions that have a proven track record of revenue growth. As a 2X start-up and creative industry leader, M.J. currently acts as Chief Experience Officer and Founding Partner of RealityBLU.

RealityBLU’s Creation Engine empowers businesses, marketers, and creatives to effortlessly strategize, design, develop, deploy, and measure AR experiences and effective campaigns.

Anderson is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events where he shares his expertise on increasing marketing relevance through practical use of mobile apps, video, augmented and virtual reality.
