ACCOUNT BACKGROUND
United Supermarkets is a Texas-based, retail grocery chain with stores in 30 markets across North and West Texas. United operates 51 stores under four distinct formats: United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos and United Express.
SITUATION
The United Family needed an efficient way to distribute various types of printed collateral to 51 stores across north and west Texas to promote holidays and other promotions throughout the year. Their previous process was to use multiple vendors to supply the printed collateral, then using internal resources to collate, package, and ship marketing materials to all or select locations.
SOLUTION
A Slate Group account executive discussed the situation with The United Family’s, Marketing Department so we could fully understand their needs and current pain points in order to develop a solution. The following key points explain the solutions we were able to provide them with.

We are able to produce Offset, Digital, and Display Graphic printing all under one roof. Rather than getting their print collateral from multiple vendors, United was able to get everything taken care of at one place. By simplifying their print buying process, we were able to save United Supermarkets time and money.

We noticed that United Supermarkets could make their Marketing even more efficient by utilizing our Kitting and Fulfillment services. Slate Group was able to Fulfill and distribute orders based on specific instructions for each location.

A Centralized ordering system was enabled to allow a more organized and convenient marketing management system for United. This system allows them access to an online portal to order and customize everything they need, from business cards to signage.
