Our Favorite Recent Projects From the Creative Department
Steve Jobs said, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
We asked our Creative Director, Rico Vega, to feature one of the creative department’s favorite projects. He replied, “When you love what you do, it’s hard to pick just one. Our creative department is a team of designers with different strengths.” So, he picked two.
South Plains Food Bank Display Graphics
We recently had the opportunity to design display graphics for the South Plains Food Bank’s new 60,000 square foot facility. Having worked with Danielle Robertson, SPFB’s Marketing Director, in the past on traditional print, we were excited about the opportunity to collaborate with her again on this project.
As you can see, we were able to print large banners, custom shaped e-panel wall signage, and acrylic signage with white ink. It’s always fun when you can walk into a space that is essentially a blank canvas to build a brand on and at the same time work with a charity that benefits so many in our community. And it’s even better when the customer approves.
“You guys are the BEST! Really, has anyone told you how amazing you guys are?? Like today? Or in the past 5 minutes?? Take a second to soak it in. YOU. ARE. AWESOME.” – Danielle Robertson
Texas Tech Federal Credit Union Annual Report
We have worked closely with Texas Tech Federal Credit Union for years and provide design services on their print projects. So when it was time to create this year’s annual report, our design staff was happy to assist. The piece is an 8 page plus cover saddle stitched booklet with a custom die cut cover.
Our designers geek out over publication design mainly because it involves a lot of typography. There’s no better project to go all out on than a publication with tables, graphs, and a strong concept to build from. This annual report was no exception. Plus we got to work with Raider Red, Texas Tech’s lovable mascot and TTFCU’s unofficial Chief Spirit Officer.
Our creative department dreams up marketing solutions from corporate logos to large display graphics. We get to turn our customers’ marketing messages into something their audiences can see, touch and experience. We think big on every project and provide budget-friendly results.
